(Tactical) Class 1
Injuries require minor professional treatment. Treated on an outpatient or ambulatory basis.
(Tactical) Class 2
Injuries require immediate life-sustaining measures. Require minimum amount of time, personnel, and supplies
(Tactical) Class 3
Definitive treatment that can be delayed without jeopardy to life or loss of limb.
(Tactical) Class 4
Injuries require extensive treatment beyond immediate med capabilities. Detriment to others if treated.
(Nontactical) Priority I
Correctable life-threatening illnesses examples: open chest, abdomen wounds, femur fractures.
(Nontactical) Priority 2
Serious , non-life threatening illnesses examples moderate blood loss, multi fractures, eye injuries.
(Nontactical) Priority 3
Minor injuries ex: soft tissue, simple fractures, minor to moderate burns.
(Nontactical) Priority 4
Dead or fatally injured. Ex exposed brain matter, decapitated, incineration.
