Define Long Term Decisions
Those which affect the vision, mission and objectives of a company (e.g. in 5 to 10 years time)
Define Short Term Decision
More tactical/operational in nature and are designed to achieve goals (e.g. in 12 months time)

Requires a systematic approach to researching and analysing all the available information before a conclusion is reached
Define Subjective Decision Making
Where the personal opinions of the key decision maker strongly influence the course of action chosen

When there is a lack of information, An entrepreneur might have experience and insight, Some decisions have to be made quickly

The values, attitudes and beliefs of the people who work for a business, ‘The way we do things round here’
