A

It happened because of rising tension between black and white working class families, but the event that sparked the event was a swedish white woman arguing with her black husband. A group of youths noticed, and they started shouting racist slurs at the man, and when his wife tried to protest they started throwing bottles and stones, and hit her with an iron bar. Later that night, three to four hundred white people began attacking houses of black residents.
