What is the heart?
A
an organ that pumps blood around the body in a double circulatory system.

Sides of the heart
A
The right side has deoxygenated blood, so that pumps blood to the lungs, the left side pumps oxygenated blood to the rest of the body.

The four chambers of the heart.
A
right atrium and the left atrium at the top right ventricle and left ventricle at the bottom.

How the heart works?
A
blood enters the heart through the vena cava, the blood then travels through the right atrium into the right ventricle and pumped out through the pulmonary artery. Blood returns to the body (oxygenated) through the pulmonary vein. The blood travels down the left atrium into the left ventricle before getting pumped out the aorta.
