The Adress
A
- In 1930, Allama Iqbāl, chaired a meeting of the Muslim League, In Allahabad.
- In the presidential address he called for;
- Muslims to strive for a separate homeland,
- He argued that Islam gave its followers a creed, which united them.
- He said that there would be no peace unless they were recognised as a federal nation.
- He wanted to see NWFP, Punjab, & Baluchistan, as one single nation. However he excluded Muslim majority Sindh & Bengal.

A
1) He was the first to suggest partition of the Sub Continent, in accordance with the 2 nation theory.
2) He inspired many Muslims, who now had a goal to work for.
3) Inspired & influenced people like; Jinnah(Pakistan Resolution) & Rahmat Ali
4) His poetry also inspired the Muslims, it motivated them to work hard to achieve their goals.
