Central vein in cross section and longitudinally.
What is the spermatic order composed of?
Spermatic artery, spermatic venous netword (pampiniform plexus), vas deferens, cremaster muscle, nerves, lymphatics.
What structure I primarily visualised within the spermatic cord on US?
Tortuous spermatic artery.
Where does spermatic cord torsion usually occur?
1-3cm dorsal to the testis.
What orientation is the head and tail of the epididymis?
Head to head, body, dorsolateral, tail to tail.
Where does fluid usually accumulate within the vaginal cavity?
around the epididymal tail
Which image is normal and hat is happening?
B is normal, spermatic cord usually contains hypo echoic foci.
A is abnormal at the cord is more hyper echoic and thickened suggesting torsion.
What is a hydrocele of the vaginal cavity?
fluid accumulation secondary to vascular or lymphatic compromise
