asymptomatic syphilis, contracted more than 2 years prior
presentation of primary syphilis
painless ulcer (chancre) at infection site

- scalp or eyebrow hair loss
- cranial nerve palsy (deafness)
- retinitis, uveitis
- ulcers in mouth, nasal cavity or vulva
body
- condylomata lata
- symmetrical torso rash
- lymphadenopathy
presentation of tertiary syphilis
- gummata formation
- heart symptoms
- eye symptoms
- ear symptoms
- neurosyphilis
