baby with fibromatosis colli - what is it
colli = neck
fibromatosis = fibroma forming where it shouldn’t
its a mass on the sternocleidomastoid, caused by fibroblast proliferation

plagiocephaly
facial asymmetry
permanent loss of neck range of motion
scoliosis
baby with fibromatosis colli - management, prognosis, 2nd line
initial
physiotherapy - gentle passive stretching exercises, 3 times a week
active positioning of head , encourage baby to sleep facing affected side
usually 90% improve by 3-4 months if treated correctly
if not improved -> surgery, ?botox
