What is CCS?
Component Control Section
What is CCS also known as?
Repairable management section (RMS)
What is CCS responsible for?
Management and accounting of all repairable assets
What are the 4 units of CCS?
DCU - Document Control unit, controls non-RFI components
LRCA - Local Repair Cycle Assets, receipt, storage, issue and accounting repairables
SSU - Supply Screening Unit, process all items returned from IMA
AWP - Awaiting Parts, receive, store, and control awp components, located next to PC.
What is RAM?
Repairable Asset Management.
Maintains custody of high cost AVDLRS (aviation depot level repairables) ordered by IMS.
Issued only upon immediate receipt of turn-in

Tracks funding allocations and document number status changes

Not Mission Capable Supply when AC not able to perform missions due to supply shortage
What is PMCS?
Partial Mission Capable Supply - AC can perform at least 1 of its missions but not all.

National Stock Number -13 digit # assigned by DLSC
