Central retinal vein occlusion cause ?
Glaucoma , polycethmia, hypertension.

Central retinal artery occlusion causes?
thromboembolism (from atherosclerosis) or arteritis (e.g. temporal arteritis)
Central retinal artery occlusion features?
‘cherry red’ spot on a pale retina
afferent pupillary defect
Vitreous hemorrhage causes?
causes: diabetes, bleeding disorders, anticoagulants
Features of vitreous hemorrhage ?
sudden visual loss,
dark spots

Flashes of light (photopsia) - in the peripheral field of vision
Floaters, often on the temporal side of the central vision

Dense shadow that starts peripherally progresses towards the central vision
