Intoxication: Ataxia, minor respiratory depression

Intoxication: euphoria, respiratory and CNS depression, decreased gag reflex, pinpoint pupils
Opioids (ex. heroin)
Intoxication: emotional lability, slurred speech, ataxia, coma, blackouts
Alcohol
Intoxication: marked respiratory depression
Barbiturates
Intoxication: euphoria, grandiosity, pupillary dilation, prolonged wakefulness and attention, hypertension, tachycardia, anorexia, paranoia, fever
Amphetamines
Intoxication: impaired judgement, pupil dilation, hallucinations, paranoid ideations, angina, sudden cardiac death
Cocaine
Intoxication: restlessness, increased diuresis, muscle twitching
caffeine
Intoxication: restlessness
Nicotine
Intoxication: belligerence, impulsiveness, psychomotor agitation, analgesia, vertical and horizontal nystagmus, tachycardia, homicidality, psychosis, delirium, seizures
PCP
Intoxication: perceptual distortion, depersonalization, anxiety, paranoia, psychosis, possible flashbacks
LSD
Intoxication: euphoria, anxiety, paranoid delusions, perception of slowed time, impaired judgement, social withdrawal, increased appetite, dry mouth, conjunctival injection, hallucinations
Marijuana
Withdrawal: autonomic hyperactivity with tachycardia, tremors, anxiety, seizures (2-5 days), psychotic symptoms, confusion
Alcohol
Withdrawal: sweating, dilated pupils, fever, piloerection, rhinorrhea, yawning, nausea, stomach cramps, diarrhea
