A

Patient has anxiety about having or acquiring a serious illness. Different from somatization disorder because they don’t have serious somatic symptoms.

Conversion disorder

A

Physical symptoms suggesting neurological problems (sensory impairment or paresthesia or paralysis).
Rapid onset, sudden termination, sudden reappearance.
Most common in women and men in combat
