Continous
Continuous training, also known as continuous exercise, is any type of physical training that involves activity without rest intervals.
Fartlek
Fartlek, which means “speed play” in Swedish, is a training method that blends continuous training with interval training. Fartlek runs are a very simple form of a long distance run.
Circuit
Circuit training is a form of body conditioning or endurance training or resistance training using high-intensity aerobics.
Interval
physical training consisting of alternating periods of high- and low-intensity activity.
Plyometric
Plyometrics, also known as “jump training” or “plyos”, are exercises in which muscles exert maximum force in short intervals of time, with the goal of increasing power (speed-strength).
Weight
physical training that involves lifting weights.
