It extends from the lower region of your spine to the bone in the upper arm known as the humerus
What is the function of your deltoid
To be able to move arm in all directions at the shoulder

They contract and relax automatically controlled by the involuntary nervous system.
What is a sporting exapmle of when you would need to use you biceps
Pull up or drawing a bow in archery.
What is a sporting exapmle of when you would use your latissimus dorsi
Butterfly stroke in swimming and you are extending your arm at the shoulder.
Where is your gluteals located
It lies just under the skin and is attached to the femur
Sporting example of when you would use your hip flexors
Lifting knees high in sprinting.
What is the function of your external obliques
Pull the chest downwards;flex and rotate the spinal column. One side contracting creates a side bend.
Function of your hip flexors
Flex the hip and help move the leg and knee up towards the body
Where are your quadriceps located
It is located on the fron of the upper leg and it is the four muscles
