Lesion outbreak is unilateral and usually involving only one dermatome level, most common area of outbreak are on face or trunk. 2-4 incubation, start rash, pain and paresthesia in the area. The pain can continue while the rash is present. The rash has blistering lesions, with a reddened inflamed area underneath. The blisters usually scab over in 7-10 days and completely heal within a few weeks wo/ any scarring.

Rubeola Virus, fever is 10-12 days, 1st sxm are a fever,last 2-4 days on AVR. Up to 103-105/ after that, cough, and runny nose may develop. Koplik Spots(bluish white spots) will form in the mucosa of the mouth. Sop like spots from 1-2 days before the body rash. Begin on the forehead ->face->neck->trunk in to arms->legs feet.
Itchy rash, leave splotchy patches of red or reddish brown tiny bumps. No blister, rash 506 days and will fade . Contagious.

1st sxm are fever 101-104, HA, Ftg, Bodyache last 2-4 days, the the rash begins. The 1st starts Mouth and on the tongue , blister ->spread to throat->face->extremities->trunk and wide spread in 24hrs, rashes become blister over the nest 3-4 days. Thick cloudy pus like fluid. And make skin scarring dimples. After 5 days blister crust and scab. Fall off 3 weeks. Scabs fallen off no longer contagious.

2-7 incubation/ a blister or many small blisters appear near the lips(vermillion border) or genital region. The blisters break and the remaining sores are often painful and tender. A person is infectious for 7-12 days and can spread the infections to others. These lesions recur in about 60-80% of infected patients. Recurrent episodes are usually milder and shorter.

Rash begins as a reddened area at the base the tick bite. The rash expands outward from the initial area giving a “Bulls eye” appearance. This expanding rash is called erythema migraines(EM). The rash may be inflamed and warm to the touch but not itchy. Infection can linger, weeks, months or years after the rash fades. Prolonged sxm can be Bell’s palsy, HD, pain and swelling in joints Ht palpitations or shooting pain. Not usually spread via human -human. Tick bite.

Can occur anywhere in the body, Sulla area of outbreaks are around the nose mouth hand or arms. Red bumps appear on the skin, which release a yellowish pus like secretion. This secretion will often dry and create a scouts that stick to the skin the rash lasts 2-3 weeks . Highly contagious.

Most common in women(30-60) with lighter colored complexions. The rash may come and go. Triggers can include spicy foods, alcohol, temp extremes, sunlight, stress r some types of medications.
