A
  1. fall on outstretched arm (most often occurs with younger)

2. clavicle is lower, palpation reveals pain, deformity, and swelling

  2. pain, swelling, decreased ROM, x-ray for detection
  3. immediate splint, treat for shock and refer, athlete will be out for 2-6 months
