A
  1. To cost, to be (typically the cost of something you buy, not rent) (if a number is mentioned, the preposition “en” is placed between salir and the number)
  2. To say something, not good news (typically a lie or excuse) (salir con algo)
  3. To pull something off, to do something successfully
  4. To get away with (salirse con la suya)
    - me salí con la mía
    - te saliste con la tuya
    - se salió con la suya
    - nos salimos con la nuestra
    - se salieron con la suya
  5. To backfire (salir el tiro por la culata​)
