- Progressive and fatal
- Respiratory Form

*Increased respiratory effort
*Exercise intolerance - Neurological Form (Visna)
*Less common
*Weight loss

*Abnormal gait, ataxia, inco-ordination, paralysis
*Circling, Head tremor etc - Mastitis
*Chronic mastitis

- Early cases respond better
-isolate, oxytetracycline , topical eye antibiotics

A
- Caused by Listeria monocytogenes
- Blephorospasm, cloudiness cornea, swollen folded iris

What are differential diagnoses for thin ewes?
A
- Poor nutrition - hill ewes over winter, late pregnant ewes, inadequate grazing, poor forage quality
- Teeth - oral lesions
- Chronic disease - OPA, MV, johnes, lameness
