Condition where airways become inflamed, narrow and swell, and produce extra mucus, making it difficult to breathe.

Large tubes that connect to your trachea (windpipe) and direct the air to your right and left lungs.
Bronchi
Inflammation of the large tubes that connect to your trachea (windpipe) and direct the air to your right and left lungs.
Bronchitis
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease - A group of lung diseases that block airflow and make it difficult to breathe.
COPD

Difficulty breathing.
Dyspnea
Small, movable “lid” just above the larynx that prevents food and drink from entering the windpipe.

The gradual destruction of the alveoli (tiny air sacs).
Emphysema
The area that connects the throat to the trachea.
Larynx
Openings to the nasal cavities that are on the face.
Nares
A highly contagious respiratory infection that is easily preventable by vaccine.
