A
- Every woman has the right to decide what happens to her own body
- If a woman becomes pregnant due to rape or incest
- If the child will be born with a disability - quality of life is important
- If there is a risk to the physical or mental health of the expectant mother
- A woman should not be forced to carry a child that is unwonted

What are some of the arguments against abortion?
A
- The foetus has a right to life
- The trauma doesn’t change the fact that the child in the womb is a human being
- All children need love and care, a disabled child just needs more love and care
- Counselling services are available to help expectant mothers
- Every child is wanted. There are many childless couples who would gladly adopt the child
