What is the Renaissance?
The Renaissance started in Italy and spread to all of Europe
1300-1600
The beginning of a lot of art and writing
Name means rebirth(revival of art and learning)

Modern day- people are more free to express their beliefs and what not idk or family businesses used to be passed on and the peeps kinda had to work in the business if they were in the family but now people are more free to do their own things. Same goes with arranged marriages.

Everybody can have freedom of religion
Modern day- Government is separate from religion

Nature is the source of all true knowledge

Were more skilled than apprentices but less than masters. They worked for masters and earned money.
Commercial capitalism
A system when people would invest in trade and goods in order to gain profit
money economy
Trade had previously not been based on money. The money economy was when money started to become important and developed.
