  • Decreased ADAMTS-13
  • Decreased platelets
  • Decreased RBC count
  • Shistocytes present on blood smear
  • Increased bilirubin
  • Normal PT and APTT
  • classical pentad of symptoms (CNS abnormalities, Fever, microangiopathic hemolytic anemia, thrombocytopenia, renal pathology)
