What did stresseman do that helped re-establish germany as a world power
they were invited to join the league of nations in 1926 (after they were exluded in 1920) wich waas a new international body that’s aim was to discuss world problems in order to avoid another war

he stregthend the confidence of the german people in the weimar republic and reduced support for exreamist national parties
he aslo reduced the economic harships of the german people
what could be argued to be reasons stressemna’s policies were not as sucessful?
their was still hatred of the treaty of versilles
the league of nations for some justa sybol of the unpopular treaty of versilles
some didn’t like the confermation of the new bosder with france due to its lunks to the treaty of versilles and they wanted the old land germany used to have back
what is the main reason the could be argued that stresseman’s polices were not a sucsess?
while germany had began to recover it was heavily relient of the us and heir lons in order to be able to pay back their dept and so they would only stay prosporus for as long as the USA could afford to pay them
name some points of hitler’s and drexler’s 25 point plan
increase pensions for the elderly
abolish the treaty of versilles
reduce unempolyment
rearmour and remiliterise the country
only ‘german races’ could be citizens not jewish people

all citizens should have equal rights and duties
give people the chance of higher education
protect mothers and infants and stop children working
what was the effect of the wall streeet crash on the german people
the us ptopped loaning money to germany and demanded repayment on loans
so german buissnesses recived no more US investments and had to pay increased taxes the german government made cuts in umenploment benifits and german workers had wages cut and some lost thier jobs
as bussiness reduced staff and closed
familes fell into poverty
young people were hit especially hard by job losses
how did the depression lead to rising support in the nazi party?
ecomonic problems lead to unemployment wich lead to dissatification with the weimar government and support for exxtreamist parties. Hitler’s policies and speaches also appealed to a sturggling country ed their slogan of bread and work and promises he could solve the economic crisis and rpotect people from communists (esspeciallly rural people who were worried communisst might seize their land)
some women thoguth the nazis could save their familes
