What are adv and disadv of envelope flap?a
Adv: good reapproximation
Disadv: difficult to reflect, high tension, limited access
What are adv and disadv of triangular flap?
Adv: adequate blood supply, satisfactory visualisation, good reapproximation
Disadv: defect in attached gingiva
What are adv and disadv of trapezoidal flap?
Adv: excellent access (+1 teeth), no tension
Disadv: lead to gingival recession
Why should air powered drill not be used for bone removal?
Avoid submucosal emphysema - this can increase risk of infection
