central tendency
a measure of the “middle” of a set or sample of numbers
mean
the average of a set or sample of numbers (or terms)
median
depending on the number of terms in a set or sample, this can be the middle number (for a set with an odd number of numbers) or the average of the two middle numbers (for a set with an even number of numbers)

the most frequent term in a set or sample of numbers

this measures how much the square of the difference of the data and the mean is
