Pure PRINCE2 - Organisation theme Flashcards
What is the aim of the Organisation theme?
To define the project structure, responsibilities, and communication channels. Established at the start of the project and enacted throughout.
What does PRINCE2 define?
Set roles and responsibilities that need to be covered, not a set structure that has to be filled in a one-to-one basis. Roles can be shared, but responsibilities must always be allocated to ensure accountability.
What are the most common stakeholders and their roles?
The three most common are: 1. Business - ensures business justification and value for money throughout the project 2. User - represents the people who will use the product. Represents their interests and ensures the desired outcomes and benefits are achieved 3. Supplier - Has the skills and knowledge of compliance needs.
How does the Organisation theme abate staff turnover?
Having clear roles and responsibilities helps with the transition to a new team member. A new stage is a good opportunity to hand over.
According to the PRINCE2 Organisation theme, what must a project do?
