  1. Apex lies on urogenital diaphragm
  2. The urethra leaves at this point to become membranous urethra
    Anteriorly here the prostate is related to the symphysis pubis and separated from it by extra peritoneal fat in the retro public space
    Puboprostatic ligaments - connect surface of prostate to pubic bones
