Program Evaluation
systemic assessment of the processes and/or outcomes of a program with the intent of furthering development and improvement
Cost-Benefit Analysis
determines the financial costs of operating a program as compared with the fiscal benefits of its outcomes
cost-benefit ratio to determine the extent to which costs exceed benefits
Cost-Effectiveness Analysis
considers the benefits that are not measured in monetary terms
illness prevented and/or lives saved
may focus on most financially efficient way to achieve a defined outcome or the cost of producing an outcome
Outcome Assessment
process of determining whether a program has achieved its intended goals
involves collecting evidence through assessment, analyzing data, and using findings to make programmatic changes as needed
continual feedback loops
