Management of Primary Hyperparathyroidism

A
  • Total parathyroidectomy

Conservative mx if:
- Ca <0.25 above upper limit of normal
- patient >50y
- no end organ damage

patients not suitable for surgery
= cinacalcet (calcimimetic)
