What clinical features can present with ovarian cancer?
abdominal distension and bloating
abdo/pelvic pain
urinary symptoms e.g. Urgency
early satiety
diarrhoea
What tumour marker can be tested for if a woman is symptomatic?
CA125
What other conditions can raise the CA125 level?
Endometriosis
menstruation
benign ovarian cysts
What is the common treatment route for ovarian cancer?
Combination of surgery and platinum-based chemotherapy
What percentage of women have advanced disease at presentation?
