Origin: Connective tissue over hock
Insertion: M. extensor digitorum longus
Action: Auxillary extensor of digits II, III and IV
Innervation: N. fibularis profundus

- Between m. extensor digitorum longus and m. tibialis cranialis
- Travels with n. fibularis profundus/n. peroneus profundus
- Becomes a. dorsalis pedis
