What are the three types of delegated powers?
Enumerated, Implied, and Inherent powers.
What are enumerated/expressed powers.
Powers specifically stated in the Constitution.
What are Implied powers?
Powers derived from enumerated powers, not directly stated in the constitution.
What are inherent powers?
Powers that exist for national government because government is sovereign.
What are state powers?
Reserved powers- powers only for the state.
What are Concurrent powers?
Powers used and exercised by both the states and national government.
What’s the difference between exclusive power and delegated power?
Delegated power is just the powers given to the National government through the constitution.
I exclusive power is power given to either states or federal government.
What does ammendement 10 of the constitution establish?
That powers not delegated to federal government by constitution nor prohibited towards states by constitution is given to the states.
What is Rule of Naturalization?
Allowing immigrants to live as a citizen of the U.S.
What is writ of Habeas Corpus?
Court order demanding criminal to be brought before court (an unlawful imprisonment)
What are the Necessary and Proper clauses?
Other laws required or used to make certain laws.
What are bills of attainder?
Punishment without a trial
Power to coin money and regulate value? (National, State or Concurrent)?
