Q

How can ion decencies effect plant growth

A

Stunted growth caused by nitrate ion deficiency . This is because nitrate ions are needed to make proteins and proteins are required for growth in the cells

Chlorosis - magnesium is needed to make chloroplasts . Therefore a lack of these magnesium ions will stunt the rate of photosynthesis.

Q

Explain rose black spot

A

A fungal disease where purple spots develop on the leaf . Effects growth as it prevents photosynthesis

Transmitted through water or wind

Use fungicides to treat it
