The brain is a complex organ and difficult to investigate , the longer the brain is exposed the more the risk of damage can occur.
Deceased brains are not as useful as electrical impulses do not pass through them

Can cause a stroke ,permanent muscle weakness
Can cause a patient to go into a comatose state
