ταξί is a neuter word
‘ένα’ points to the word being either masculine or neuter - in this case it’s the latter.
for the feminine, one uses ‘μια’.

Θα πάω με το αυτοκίνητό μου.
…because I’ll go to Thessaloniki.
…because I’ll go to Athens.
γιατί θα πάω στη Θεσσαλονίκη.
γιατί θα πάω στην Αθήνα.
στη - when followed by a word starting with a consonent
στην - when followed by a word starting with a vowel
Which is the right route?
Ποιος είναι ο σωστός δρόμος;
Πώς λέτε; Take the correct route. (imperative)
Πάρτε τον σωστό δρόμο
the word ‘δρόμος’ is, grammatically, masculine, thus the use of the article ‘τον’ (masculine, accusative, singular) - see the attached declension table for the definite article ‘the’.
Go along the street to the left / right.
Πηγαίνετε στο δρόμο αριστερά / δεξιά
Go to the right then straight ahead.
Πατε δεξιά και μετά ευθεία.
It’s the right route.
