- persistent mistrust and suspiciousness of others
- believe that others are out to harm, take advantage of, or betray them
- feels this way despite having no evidence to support their claims
- worries with unproven doubts of colleagues and friends
- fear that info they share will be used against them

Schizoid personality disorder:

A
- persistent pattern of aloofness from relationships and decreased emotional expression
- desire solitary activity and doesn’t want or like close relationships including family relationships
- no friends or pleasures in life
- appear to lack any desire for sexual experiences and appear emotionally distant and detached
- unconcerned when they receive praise or criticism from others

Schizotypal personality disorder:

- persistent pattern of involving difficulty with relationships as evidenced by severe uneasiness with and decreased ability for intimate relationships
- lack of close friends
- strange, eccentric behaviour
- misinterpret
- tend to be superstitious and have odd beliefs or magical thinking
- bizarre thinking and speech
- social anxiety and paranoid worries
- when they experience extreme stress they decompensated and become psychotic resulting in hospitalization

Antisocial personality disorder:

- pattern of not conforming to social norms
- have a disregard for and violate the rights of others
- dishonest as evidence by frequent lying and deceiving other for personal gain/pleasure
- impulsive, irritable, aggressive, reckless, irresponsible and lack for remorse
- difficulty with authority figures and often have ODD as children
- end up in prison usually

- pattern of volatile interactions with other
- extreme impulsive and make attempts to prevent genuine or imagined abandonment
- have intense, unstable relationships that swing b/c of extremism of admiration and deprecation
- engage in repeated self-mutilating behaviours
- express feelings of emptiness, anger, and stress
- commonly splitting

- attention seeking behaviour
- uneasy in situations unless they are the centre of attention
- often provocative and use their physical appearance to draw others in
- very dramatic and theatrical
- easily swayed by others
- tend to think relationships are closer than they truly are

- pattern of pretentiousness and need for approval and high regard
- sense of entitlement
- take advantage of people for their own personal gain
- exaggerated self worth
- may distort facts and accusations
- rage impairs their judgement and thinking

- shyness, feelings of incompetence, and extreme sensitivity to criticism
- will avoid situations that involve interaction with others d/t fear of negative reaction
- don’t get involved with others unless they know they will be accepted
- don’t talk about themselves
- think of themselves as inferior or unattractive

- concern or worry over the orderliness, perfectionism, control and details of an activity
- focused only on work and productivity
- don’t like to throw away meaningless, valueless object, tend to save money for misfortune
- stubborn and rigid
may be dx with concurrent anxiety disorder
