Examples of long acting insulin

A

Humulin, Novolin, and Novolin NPH (all intermediate that are usually given during meal times or in the morning). Lantus and Levemir (long acting which remain in your blood stream up to 24 hours and stays steady throughout the day). Tresiba (ultra-long acting which lasts up to 42 hours and stays steady throughout the day).
