A
- AP projection of entire pelvis along with proximal femora
- Greater trochanters in profile
- Symmetric obturator foramina
- Lesser trochanter not visulaized

A
Suspend respiration

How is the patient positioned for an AP pelvis?
A
- Patient supine on table
- Unless contraindicated, rotate feet and lower limbs 15-20 degrees internally
- Heels should be 8-10” apart

Where is the CR for an AP pelvis?
A
Perpendicular to MSP at level 2” inferior to ASIS or 2” superior to pubic symphysis
