A
  1. Regulate planning, initiation & termination of movement
  2. Regulates muscle tone
  3. Controls subconscious & contraction of skeletal muscle

It excites direct & inhibits indirect

So with a lack of dopamine there is a lack of excitation of direct and a lack of inhibition of indirect causing an overall lack of movement
