What is the purpose of an achievement test?

A

Assessments that measure a student’s acquired knowledge of skills in educational areas. Helps to identify discrepancy of IQ to achievement results to see if there is some outside factor like anxiety that is impairing IQ.

Wisconsin Card Sorting Test

A

Executive Function . 4 stimulus cards differ on variable of color, shape, and number. No instructions given to person taking the test. They are told ‘right/wrong’ and they learn the rule. Then the rule gets changed. Those with cognitive impairment will never learn the rule.

Subject points to picture most like the stimulus word read aloud by administrator.
