A

Need multiple motor and 1 or more vocal tics that are not necessarily concurrent. Tic can be motor or vocal. MTOR TICS OR VOCAL TICS ALONE ARE NOT TOURETTES.

A

Mild: Alpha2 agonsit (clonidine, guanfacine)
Severe: Risperidone
Resistant: Pimozide FDA approved for non-responders, watch for prolonged qt and look at other drugs that prolong qt such as CYP3a4 inhibitors.
