What are the causes of nephrotic syndrome?

- Primary glomerulonephritis (80%)
- Systemic disease (20%) - Diabetes, SLE, Amyloidosis
- Drugs: Gold, Penicillamine
- Infections: Bacterial endocarditis, Hepatitis B, Malaria
- Cancer: Carcinonoma, Lymphoma, Leukaemia, Myeloma
