  • If shock - admit for IVI
  • If no dehydration - encourage oral fluids
  • If dehydration
    • Give 50ml/kg of Diarolyte over 4 hours in small amounts.
    • Continue breastfeeding.
    • Consider supplementing with usual water or milk but fruit juices or carbonated drinks.
