Origin: Humeral Head — Medial epicondyle; Ulnar Head — Coronoid process
Insertion: Middle of the lateral surface of the radius
Innervation: Median nerve (C6, C7)
Blood Supply: Ulnar artery

Pronates forearm and assists in elbow flexion
Flexor Carpi Radialis (FCR)
Origin, Insertion, Innervation, Blood Supply
Origin: Medial epicondyle of the humerus
Insertion: Base of metacarpal 2 and 3
Innervation: Median nerve (C6, C7)
Blood Supply: Ulnar artery

Flexes and radially deviates
Palmaris Longus
Origin, Insertion, Innervation, Blood Supply
Origin: Medial epicondyle of humerus
Insertion: Apex of palmar aponeurosis and the distal half of the flexor retinaculum
Innervation: Median nerve (C7, C8)
Blood Supply: Ulnar artery
Palmaris Longus Movements
Tenses the palmar aponeurosis and flexes the hand at the wrist
Flexor Carpi Ulnaris (FCU)
Origin, Insertion, Innervation, Blood Supply
Origin: Humeral head — medial epicondyle; Ulnar head: olecranon and the posterior border of the ulna
Insertion: Pisiform, hook of the hamate and 5th metacarpal
Innervation: Ulnar collateral branch of the median nerve (C7); Ulnar nerve (C7, C8)
Blood Supply: Ulnar artery
