Where do the Lumbrical muscles originate from and where do they insert?
From the radial side of the profundus tendon, inserting onto the extensor apparatus
What is the innervation of the Lumbrical muscles?
Lateral two lumbricals (index and middle finger) = Median nerve
Medial two lumbricals (ring and pink) = Ulnar nerve
What is the function of the Lumbrical muscles?
Flexion of the MCP joints whilst keeping IP joints extended
