Scopolamine CI, SE, and notes

A

CI: hypersensitivity to belladonna, angle closure glaucoma
SE: Dry mouth, CNS effects, stinging of the eyes and pupil dilation if eyes are touched, increased IOP
Do not drive d/t high level of sedation, dizziness, and confusion
Remove before MRI
