What are the common adverse reactions of Morphine?

A
  • Respiratory Depression
  • Emesis
  • Constipation (reduced gut motility and increased sphincter tone)
  • CVS side effects
  • Miosis (pupil contraction)
  • histamine release via mast cell activation (so caution in asthmatics)
