How can you tell the difference between a monocot and dicot?
Stems-Dicots have larger Phloem on the outside stem picture than monocots. Monocot stems are less clustered, and randomly spread out, while dicot stems are clustered in a circle, and are clustered closer together. Root- Dicots have a smaller center piece in root systems than monocots, which have large clusters on the outside. Leaf- Monocots have straighter leaves, dicots have a droop in middle.
