Investigation for septic arthritis
Joint aspirate - MC&S
Blood culture
Management for septic arthritis
IV Abx (fluclox)
Drain joint
Investigation for prosthetic joint infection
XR/CT/MRI Joint aspirate (risk of infx)
Management for prosthetic joint infx
IV Abx (fluclox)
Remove prosthesis
