What is the Tourniquet test?
A
A WHO field test for hemorrhagic fever of Dengue. Blood pressure cuff is inflated to a point between SBP and DBP and left on for 5 minutes. If there is excess petechiae on skin: increased capillary wall fragility and thrombocytopenia.
